LONDON - Giles Deacon says his collection wasn’t “Black Swan” but there were swan references to swans in general including the Silver Swan exhibit from Bowes Museum in County Durham and so-called “society swans photographed by Cecil Beaton. There were other silver themes like Beaton’s Symphony in Silver picture of Beaton’s sister. The background was based on Silver Clouds, a collab between Andy Warhol engineer Billy Kluve. One model wore an extravagant swan headpiece complete with mask and a swan a top her head with her white suit and another wore wings. The rest of the collection was metallics, silver, a geometric print, followed by dresses in a pink champagne color, more swan masks, and red floral brocade and lavish gowns.
